General Info:

Sangay went to High school in Bhutan and finished his  Diploma in Agriculture Science from College of Natural resources after which he headed to  the Cooperative College of Malaysia in  Kulalampur to obtain his Certificate in Cooperative management. He is associated with the 2013 – 2015, on global leadership program on Gross National Happiness – a learning journey.  He serves as a farmer and a part time advocate for the farmers & youth in Butan. He founded the Happy Green Cooperative in July 2010 before which he was a founding member of Happy Valley Youth Group, the first youth formed group in Bhutan.  He began his career as Jr. Agriculture Extension Officer, Thimphu Dzongkhag and worked as a graphic designer and Communications officer at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests as well as the Assistant Cooperative officer in the Department of Agricultural Marketing and Cooperatives, MoAF.
