General Info:
Chariz R. Cariaga is the current Junior Institution Building Program Officer of Federation of Peoples’ Sustainable Development Cooperative, a secondary cooperative based in Quezon City, Philippines focused on empowering the marginalized sector through the promotion of its 4P’s advocacy – People, Planet, Prosperity and Peace.
Ms. Cariaga completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippine, Sta. Mesa, Manila with 15 units of Business Teacher Education in 2010. Also, she completed her Paralegal Training Certificate Course from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City with 94 hours session of legal concepts. Prior to FPSDC, she worked as Program Administrator for Punla Sa Tao Foundation, a non-government organization.

Primarily responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of Institution Building (IB) services to member-organizations / mobilization of FPSDC’s Resource Pool

Provided administrative, coordinative and logistic support to the Training and Education Unit, Consulting Unit, Finance & Admin. Unit, successfully delivered some of the projects of the institutions like being the Team lead and Facilitator of Financial Literacy Module of Asian Institute of Management (AIM) for the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs); Program and Training Assistant for International Labour Organization (ILO)’s Local Economic Development Project for small farmers and micro-entrepreneurs in Bondoc Peninsula, Quezon, Philippines; and act as the Program Administrator for Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Agrarian Reform Community Connectivity and Economic Support Services (ARCCESS) in some provinces in Central Luzon, Philippines.

Experience:
With more than 8 years of experience in Program and Capacity Building in Non-Government Organization and in National Federation in the Philippines she proved that efficiency and attention to program design is inevitable even in challenging situations and environment. She learned communication and teamwork is an advantage in accomplishing targets. But most importantly she passionate in working in a company which put its heart to its customers and beneficiaries.
