P. Santosh Kumar (Secretary, ICYC)
International Co-operative Alliance Asia and Pacific
Santosh joined the ICA Asia and Pacific as Program Officer in May 2010 and serves as secretary for the Committee on Youth Cooperation and the Committee on University/Campus Co-operatives. Over the years, Santosh has assisted the office in organizing 4 (Asia-Pacific) regional assemblies (biennial) , 2 cooperative ministers’ conferences (quadrennial) and 1 cooperative registrars’ conference, and several workshops/seminars on issues affecting co-operatives in the region. He co-authored the ICA-AP study on By laws of Primary Co-operatives in Asia and Pacific along with Mr. Rangan Dutta I.A.S (Retd.) in 2013 and supported the 4th Critical Study on Co-operative Legislations and Policy Reforms in 2012. He has produced three short films for ICA-AP on co-operatives with members from marginalized sections like refugees, tribes, and youth in post conflict zone. Santosh has a Masters degree in International Trade Law from the University of Torino (International Training Center of the International Labour Organization, Italy), graduate degree in Law from the Indraprastha University (Amity Law School, New Delhi, India) and post graduate diplomas in International Law and Diplomacy, International Trade and Business Laws (Indian Academy of International Law) and Cyber Law (Amity Law School).
